This Weekend Past

You might have noticed things were a little different this weekend... Toby has been away! That's because he was up in Auckland for Auckland Toy Fair!

Toy Fair is a yearly industry event hosted in April that brings retailers and suppliers face to face! We've never been to Auckland Toy Fair before, but after the success at Melbourne we wanted to give it a go!

It was an amazing time! Getting to meet some of our awesome suppliers properly was amazing, and getting to see some long time favorites was a total blast.

There were some incredible things at the event! We got to see some upcoming board games, find some suppliers for awesome things like RC cars and I even got to play some Star Wars Unlimited! And unfortunately for my wallet, that game was super fun. So you'll be seeing some of that in store sometime soon!

The weekend was capped off by a trip to the Geek Culture offices for their retailer day. Another amazing opportunity to chat with other stores and there were some awesome presentations from the Palms Off and Universus Teams! Some really exciting stuff in the pipeline from them too, so make sure you keep an eye out.

Overall it was an incredible weekend and you should get to see some awesome new things in store soon!
